ベートーベンや彼の音楽ついて、書いた本を見つけたのが「La Vie de Beethoven」 フランスの小説家、Romain Rollandの書いた短い評論。「Project Gutenberg」という著作権切れの古典等が各言語で無料で利用できるサイト。

One day, I climbed a 200-meter hill. At the top, I was ready to eat lunch. Then, something amazing happened. I heard Beethoven's 9th Symphony in my head. It seemed to play along with the sounds of nature around me. It was strange but beautiful!
