石油 petroleum

石油は英語ではpetroleuｍ。stone oilじゃないんですよね。元々ギリシャ語とラテン語のミックスなんです。petros「ペトロス」（石ーギリシャ語）＋oleum「オレウム」（オイルーラテン語）oleum「オレウム」はラテン語でオイルでしたね。
