On a recent trip to Takarazuka, the place where the famous all-female musical shows began, I noticed something interesting. Many women and girls there walk confidently and energetically, like actors on a stage.

DVD 数枚、計400分位の長編「モンテクリスト伯」を見ました。原作は19世紀のフランス小説。無実の罪を着せられた南仏出身の主人公ダンテス青年が、20年後に脱獄。偶然得た巨万の富を用い、パリの社交界を舞台に仇達に復讐するお話。

I watched a very long movie on DVD, approximately 6 hours long! The movie is based on a French novel called "Le Comte de Monte-Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas.Watching the DVD made me realize that the novel is closely connected to my life, both as a tool for learning foreign languages and as a story of revenge.
