もし人種差別の根が浅かったら

「スペインサッカーリーグでサポーターが相手選手に差別的発言」とTVで報道が。ブラジル出身のビニシウス選手に向けて対戦チームのサポーター達が「サル！」を連呼。本人の抗議で試合が一時中断。このニュースが気になったのは、私も昔似た経験をしたから。

高２の夏、英国へ語学研修に。当時の私は英国で大きな影響を受けたようです。というのも帰国後すぐ母にこうせがんだのです。「母さん、イギリスでは食卓にいつも塩と胡椒があり、食べる人が自分の好みでかけます。僕もそうしたいから、今後そのつもりで料理してください」
